Variation on a theme

I attended a craft class at http://www.forgetmenot.uk.net/
We made two cards using the new Craftwork Cards kit. One of the cards was using a template to make a similar card to the 8 below. I found it very therapeutic cutting out all the bits - sad I know! It's a great card to use up your scraps or the many papers we accumulate and don't use.
Some of these cards will be going to our troops along with other more essential items.

Scrapbooking

I've been using some of my old papers to make a scrapbook page. The photo was taken back in 2002 when my sister and I took my mum on a trip to Scotland. They are happy memories as mum is no longer with us. I am hoping to do a few more pages with some of the other photos taken on that trip.

2nd crop of the year

Well, even though there was a lot of talking and eating I managed to get a few cards made at the crop yesterday.

Three of them are the same style using different color combinations.

For the others I used different dies, stamps, distressed inks and candi.

Hope to be back soon. Pam xx

Daughters birthday card

Hope everyone has had a lovely weekend. I have, because I went to my monthly crop with my crafting friends yesterday and then last night and today my son has been down to stay from London and we had our grandson so that his mum could go out and celebrate her birthday with her partner.

Today we have had a lovely family day with homemade lasagne for dinner as requested by my daughter lol.

This 8x8 card for my daughters birthday was made using Vogue papers, embellishments, candi and bows from Craftwork Cards. I couldn't show it before today in case she saw it online.

Thank you for visiting my blog. Please feel free to leave comments,  good or bad. Pam xx

Variation on a theme

Last night I decided to make a quick card before going to bed. One hour later I had made 3. Once you start it's hard to stop lol.

They are all made with papers, ribbons, brads and flowers from an ever growing stash.

Thanks for taking a look. Pam xx

Cards made yesterday

Yesterday the weather was miserable, much like today, but I had 3 friends round to my house and as always there was a lot of chat and laughter brightening our day.
Here are the four cards I managed to make in between the chat and lunch lol.
Another friend had given me a box of components for making cards, tags etc. which she had bought and no longer wanted.  I have decided that I will make them up for our local hospice, St Lukes in Basildon.  There are many more to make up but here are the four I made.
Thanks for taking a look. Pam xx

Birthday Card for my Nephew

I made this card for my nephews birthday,  which was last Friday.
I used Lazy Days stamp by Little Claire for the main image and the washing line of pants. Coloured with Promarkers and then to soften the background I sponged it with two different yellow Pan Pastels.
The papers were from my stash and the zig zags down the left hand side were made with a Die-namics Chevron Stripes die.
The sentiment was from Craftwork Cards and the background behind it was made with the Memory Box Marietta Buckle Die.
The card was finished off with some Craftwork Cards Candi.

Thanks for taking a look. Pam xx
